These things are so important. When a person is alive and well or terminally ill, they want someone who is trustworthy around them. I’m only speaking from experience because of some traumatic things that have happened in my life. That’s why it’s so extremely important to have a will, a living will or durable healthcare power of attorney completed before anything tragic happens.
Make sure that your life insurance policies have all beneficiaries updated too. If you don’t have insurance, there are resources available including donating your loved one to science. I understand not wanting to talk about the what if’s but its neccessary.
