The Poem I Never Got To Put On My Mother’s Obituary

It’s 2:22am

The week of my mother’s transition off this earth, I had a panic attack then went into the hospital. I was given muscle relaxers and Vicodin. I asked a woman who was my friend at the time to give me a poem for my mother’s obituary. She gave me one that I was not fond of from her mother’s obituary from Savannah, Ga. but I was numb because of taking those meds.

I thank God for my sincere words and the woman who printed my mother’s obituaries for free.

Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
