The Music of Slim Thug Featuring Joel Olsteen: The Right People

July 16, 2019

It’s Sense For My Soul Tuesday!

On Sunday, I heard this song for the first time on 102.5. First I heard the organ playing then Pastor Joel Olteen talking about having the RIGHT PEOPLE in your life.

I enjoyed listening to this song and even put it on repeat while dancing.

There was a time that I sent my daughter Porsche to school with a black eye. She was in Kindergarten and really cute without the black eye. Dfacs was called to investigate us and a case was opened against me. Even after the two of us told the truth.

I was devastated and scared. I explained to the woman that my daughter was injured after an event at church but she did not believe me or Porsche.

The Dfacs worker was firm and wanted hard evidence. Now, God knows that I would NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HURT PORSCHE. Also, I’m extremely grateful for friends, family and others who can tell the truth about how we interact and love each other.

At the time, my pastor’s name was Robert Moore. There was a lock-in at the church in Marietta, Ga. and the door hit Porsche in the face. I called the pastor who was more than happy to tell the truth on my behalf and the Dfacs case was closed.

I was relieved. I had to go to work stressed out and worrying about my beautiful daughter being taken from me. I was a single, hardworking mother who could not afford to stay off work that day. I had to have income to take care of us.

I’m grateful for the positive relationship with my daughter, the pastor and his character. This honest church girl case was closed. Yes, Porsche went to school the next day with a black eye until it cleared. A matter of fact, she was on the principles list and had perfect attendance along with other awards.

Unfortunately, everyone is not treated equally in this world. Especially, me as a black woman. People who know of your character and humbleness are a blessing to be around.

I’m grateful for a song that speaks about the RIGHT PEOPLE. I consider myself us to be the RIGHT PEOPLE. My encouragement has rubbed off on her and she express it to others. Porsche is bubbly and still cute. I’m extremely proud of her and to be her mother.

Do you consider yourself to be the right people?

Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
