The Holy Spirit Prompt Me To Get My Prayer Shawl

May 21, 2019

It’s Tell the Truth Tuesday!

On Saturday, before I headed out with my son. The Holy Spirit prompt me to put on my prayer shawl. I was a little hesitant because my toddler was asleep and I had to carry him to his car seat.

Shortly afterwards, Keep on Pushing by Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions was played on the radio. I was so impressed my the lyrics that I added “Sense for the Soul” Sunday.

Finally, I arrived at my ex-coworker’s house.
I saw her husband walk out the door with his law enforcement uniform on and his partner or co-worker.

At that point, I was blown away because I realized that God was using me in a Bodacious way. I was surprised to see that there was a law enforcement vehicle was in the driveway too.

I walked into their house and told his wife to never stop praying for her husband. I could feel the anointing heavily, the hairs on my arm stood up as I explained why I had my pray shawl on. She quoted the scripture that says obedience is better than sacrifice. Also, stating that she would never stop praying for him.

I’ve always admired the way her husband expresses his love for her and their children. He stated that his wife is attractive spiritually. When I heard him say that about her, I smiled.

About seven years ago we worked for the same company. Fortunately, a manager looked out for her when opportunities became available for her to work from home. That has been a blessing for her and her family. Now she has weekends off and she’s so happy.

I understand and know that despite the plans and tricks of the enemy to steal, kill and destroy. God see all, knows all before hand and take action for protection. I am a chosen vessel that’s currently going through a really tough time but God still used me.

I thank God for prompting me to be in prayer wholeheartedly for myself, family and others throughout the day. I have enough going on in my life to know that I should never stop praying either.

I encourage you to keep on praying and taking action continually. Don’t forget to send your praises up too.

Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
