I was in line to purchase my groceries at Publix on Hwy 5 while my little one was inside the buggy. Since the little white boy kept looking at me. I asked him what was his favorite snack. He said, “My favorite snack is carrots!” I smiled and he smiled too then I said, ” You have a good mommy if she we feeds you carrots.” Actually, carrots are good for our eyes and have beta carotene.
Immediately, his father started rubbing both his hands on his upper back near his neck. I sinced that something was not happening for the father then he kept on rubbing his upper back while watching my every move then he stopped in order to purchase his groceries.
I continued to smile and the little white boy was happy, respectful and not stand-offish.
