It’s Tell the Truth Tuesday!
I picked my daughter up from the airport on Sunday from an awesome vacation then saw this. Cute huh? My father was in the U.S Navy and honorably discharged. Also, he was a darn good provider and always there for me and my child when we needed him most.
For example, my father was dying of pancreatic cancer but he refused chemo. For some odd reason, My Little Lambs Daycare was closed and I had no one to keep Porsche. I called my dad with my current issue/problem and he solved it.
Well my father said, I’ll keep Porsche. She was only 1yrs old at the time, too cute and busy. My daddy told me she was a good girl and ate Nabisco Vanilla Wafers the whole time he kept her. They were my father’s favorite. I’m so extremely grateful for my father’s time here on earth. He taught me great morals, values and I’ll never take him for granted. My father was strict for a reason. I’ll share this story in another blog post.
One day, my father invited me out to dinner. I asked my father, “Am I going to find a good man like you? He cracked up laughing then told me “NO, YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE LIKE ME.”
Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
