I was so excited to show my son how our Indian ancestors lived and admired mother nature. We were able to see their artifacts and other important things to their culture.
We went to each of the three Mounds. We even walked on the trail and stood by the river. Just enjoying every minute of our Indian experience on their land and sacred spots.
]When we walked to the first mound. I never understood why this older white couple with a white receipt on the ground kept looking at us suspicious. We did not speak to them and just walked by too excited to walk up the first mound in order to gather information.
We took so many pictures.
