Great Wolf Lodge Review
In this review I’ll use the sandwich technique. For example, I’ll start off with the good, tell the bad part, then end on a positive note.
My child had an absolutely wonderful experience at Great Wolf Lodge. The bedroom was very nice and cozy. Everything was very clean and stocked with basic essentials, toiletries and towels. I even took Starlette and Preston to the pool area with Starson. We had so much fun sliding down the water slide together. Two days straight, we stayed until they closed. Of course, my child did not want to leave because he was having an extremely great time.
I only have four complaints. When we got off the elevator to our floor, there were tons and tons of dirty towels in the hallway. Then before we checkout, a white woman who was a housekeeper knocked on our door around 10. I was by the door then said we are still in here. Instead the housekeeper opened the door anyway then closed my door really fast. I became furious then called management because I could have been naked. Fortunately, I was waived a fee and stayed for a late checkout. I asked to speak with a manager but she never called me back. When I left those tons and tons of towels were still in the hallway. Several days passed before I had to call for a refund they waived as a courtesy.
Overall, we had a great time and we will be going back again. I was able to voice my dissatisfaction with resolution to my problems. One more thing, a white woman told me that she received her room for only $99 whereas I had to pay $253 and some odd cents for one night. Oh and we received free Wolf ears from the gift shop.
I called for the $99 special but could not get it. If you book at least 60 days in advance you can get a room for $119.
My three suggestions are everyone should be able to receive those emails for the $99 special. That housekeeper needs better training and there should never be tons of towels on a cart during anyone’s stay. It is a fire hazard.
Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
