God Never Shuts One Door Without Opening Another

IT’S MOST GRATEFUL MONDAY!

Many years ago, I received a keychain in the shape of a key with an intriguing message. I really thanked the woman who gave it to me on my 30th BIRTHDAY! Her name is Dee. She knew my struggle and encouraged me.

God will send people in your life for many reasons but this experience is one to remember. At the time, I was living in a women’s shelter. Several women from the Atlanta Business Women Association came out to show me and the women in the shelter love.

Most of the women drove nice expensive cars. They dressed extremely nice and smelled really good. They owned their own businesses. Their appearance was one that I admired and wanted to emulate.

One of the ladies had a catering business and she cooked a delicious meal for all of us. Everything they did was mainly to build up one another.
They were not too high class to give me a hug and talk with me.

Surprisingly, they encouraged me to join once I became stable. Dee said that when you are blessed, you need to be a blessing to others. I can’t wait until the day that I’m able to bless others in the same manner or with more.

Eventually, I joined. I moved to Henry county and did not renew my membership.

Women from ABWA came to my mother’s funeral and left a delicious dish. They were so sincere. Unfortunately, the sweet lady who catered food has gone on to glory but I’ll never forget about her kindness and beautiful smile. She hosted the best parties and meetings.

Here’s a picture of the keychain. My purple towel with gold tassels is in the background which is my original prayer shawl. There’s no doubt in my mind that these women were servants of God.

When times are rough and feelings of despair attempts to knock you down. Continue to pray and stand strong in the Word of God. Always remember that God is redirecting you to something better. God never shuts one door without opening another. I did see better days that I’m proud of.

HAVE A BODACIOUS AND MIRACULOUS DAY!
