Early Voting is a Blessing

I want to give a Super Shout-Out to all of the people in America who are utilizing Early Voting. You can expect shorter lines, smiling faces and helpful people.

I say this because of what I experienced this past Tuesday. I went to the wrong location, I met a very nice man, pastor Sutton of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church who directed me to the right location. He was very patient, kind and acknowledged my little one who was crying in the back seat.

Before I went in to vote, a lovely couple was heading to their car. I asked them about the wait, a man responded by saying that it was about 25 people in line and the wait was about 20-25 minutes. The woman with him knodded her head in agreement. The man was so helpful, he closed my car door to help me out since I had a toddler who was crying. Once I strapped my toddler in the stroller and gave him his Mickey Mouse he stopped crying. The wait was not long and I cast my vote.

I’m totally embarrassed to acknowledge some of our elected officials. Thats why it’s imparative that citizens of America exercise their right to vote. I continue to hope and pray that highly skilled individuals fills every position while taking action to solve problems rather than talk. I want to have faith in a democracy that has not worked in my favor. I still vote because one day things will change and our democracy will not be at risk for electing crooked low down folks. In every state, we need someone who will follow through on citizens needs and concerns.  I’m all for being fair. Unfortunately today, I share the burden of “Please Lord.” Please Lord allow the right individuals to be elected.

Have a Bodacious and Miraculous Day!
