I’M SCREAMING TO THE TIP TOP OF MY LUNGS WITH EXCITEMENT: CONGRATULATIONS TO MY FRIEND SONYA’S ENGAGEMENT!
I remember the time that we left Praise in the Park at Centennial Park because it started pouring down raining. Shortly afterwards, we all prayed before leaving the parking lot. All of a sudden, I had a bright idea of going to the mall to different jewelry stores to try on wedding rings. I was preparing us for anticipation for our future bodacious husband.
While trying on the rings, we smiled and laughed together. I know for a fact that I was praying for myself as well. That day, we left several jewelry stores with a sense of peace and assurance that God would answer our prayer.
Over the years, we’ve maintained a quality relationship with each other. One of my prayers has been for her not to ever get involved with a no good sap-sucker. Many years has passed with new additions to my prayers for her.
Happily Ever After is about to happen to the both of them. Yes, last month, my friend who I have prayed long and hard finally received a Will You Marry Me with a gorgeous ring and the man even got down on one knee.
My final thoughts about this is that I’m extremely happy that she stayed true to herself and her man has found true love. Above all, this was an answered prayer and I thank God.
