It’s Thankful Thursday!

As I write this, my nose is burning a little and I’m in tears of joy. I’m alive for a reason. My life has not been easy, point blank. I’m so extremely thankful that God has shown me his goodness through it all.

Today and everyday, I’m extremely thankful to be alive. On this day, ten years ago before a wedding I was attending as maid of honor. I almost lost my life in a near fatal car crash in Americus, Ga.

The person who hit me T-boned the SUV. The vehicle flipped over several times. I was upside down and trapped. It was not my SUV, it was the brides and the SUV was a total lost. Some people came over to help me but I could not get out and they could not help me.

Something was leaking from the SUV. I’m not sure what it was but I was scared. The people on the outside in the kept yelling for me to hurry up and get out. The windshield was shattered and somehow I got out sore with cuts, bruises and bleeding.

The wedding ceremony was about to start in a couple of hours and I was able to clean up. I still walked down the aisle bruised up in heels. Unfortunately, they are no longer married now. I will never forget this day.

I continue to thank the Lord for surrounding me with His angels and allowing me to live on purpose.
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! I’ve always been thankful but now I’m over the top thankful that I am alive. I’m thankful to smile, hug and love people.

I’m thankful to relax and wiggle my toes. I’m thankful to see my daughter grow up into a nice young lady. I’m thankful that I’m married. I’m thankful that I have a bonus daughter and a son. I’m thankful that I have a bright future ahead of me.

I’m extremely thankful for my pastor and his family. I’m thankful for my family and friends and everyone that God wants me to be connected to. I’m thankful to be used by God and show forth his glory in every aspect of my life.
