Many years ago, I worked for a call center in the women’s and children’s health department. I would sing my favorite verse of this song in between inbound/outbound calls.
I would sing this melody that gave me so much peace. At the time, I was going through so much. Despite all that I was going through, God still allowed me to be a top producing performer/employee.
It could just be me but I love sharing the things that helped me through challenging times. Music soothes my soul. Instead of He, I would say God.

This is the same company that hired a director that sent out an email stating that no books of any kind are allowed on anyone’s desk. The only book that I had on my desk was my bible. It had been on my desk for nearly four years without any problem.
Since I adhere to policies and procedures, I took my bible off of my desk then put it in my drawer. I’m so very grateful that God has instilled the Word in me. I could open my drawer and memorize a scripture at anytime.
For some odd reason, someone desonated my cubicle to be directly in front of this director’s office. I prayed constantly and would sing extremely low to soothe my soul.
I understood what was going on but I continued to stay rooted and grounded in the Word of God with a pleasant attitude. Including the people around me.
